Gratitude: Perspective Rehab
This article is pretty potent and challenging. It encourages people struggling with addiction to take a moral inventory and determine if their appreciation for the gift of life is where it ought to be. To be sure, addiction is a disease, but the virtue of gratitude -- a positive and thankful psychological state -- accounts for a worthwhile presence in the addiction recovery toolkit.
